How to Apply WATERGUARD All In One Pro

APPLICATION GUIDE | SMOOTH
SURFACE PREPARATION
Strong plaster, concrete or brick:

Scrape off any loose uneven material with scraper / steel brush

Open-up cracks and remove any loose material

High-Pressure wash exterior or remove excess dust with a block brush.
Previously painted surfaces:

Scrape off flaking, bubbling, uneven material with a scraper / steel brush

Open up cracks and remove any loose material
-
Interior: Wash, then scrub with Sugar Soap and rinse

Exterior: High Pressure wash.
Dry wall / ceilings / gypsum board:
-
Remove dust with damp cloth.
SPREAD RATE
Steel trowel skim over smooth plaster, paint, drywall & ceilings

15kg = 15m2 (1mm thick)

1kg = 1m2 (1mm thick)
Steel trowel skim over uneven paint or plaster
-
15kg = 7.5m2 (2mm thick)
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS (Mix thoroughly and consistently)
Preferably use a mechanical mixer or geared drill. If mixing with a spade or hand ladle you will require more water to achieve the correct consistency.
Add 15kg to 6 litres of water and mix thoroughly. If nessesary slowly add additional water. If the mix is drying out over time you can slowly add in additional water for correct consistency.

Waterproofing & Plaster Repair up to 3mm: 1kg to 400ml (15kgs to 6 litres)

Skimming Walls & Ceilings at 1mm: 1kg to 450ml (15 kgs to 6.75 litres)
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE SKIMMING – Leave for 10 minutes to allow acrylics to activate.
Steel Trowel Skim

Can be applied from 500 micron to 3mm thick without cracking

Apply the product to the wall using a B1 Notch trowel
-
(2mm x 2.4mm x 2.6mm)

The B1 notch trowel will ensure a 1mm finish and 15 to 20m2 per bucket

Then skim with a smooth trowel. Don’t over work. Ridges can be sanded
-
out when dry
-
If applying two coats allow 1st coat to dry and lightly sand. Wipe off dust
-
with a damp cloth. Apply 2nd coat by repeating process.
CLEANING TOOLS
Clean all equipment whilst product is wet with clean water
